The Indian NGO Hand in Hand was set up in 2002 to combat poverty in the rural communities of the Kanchipuram District (India). This project involves renovating five preschool facilities in local communities, benefitting 120 children and 500 women (pregnant or new mothers), by giving them access to a balanced diet, education and health care.
